ABOUT Ceremonial CACAO

Ceremonial Cacao has been on our planet for over 80 million years. There was a time, when in Europe it was more valuable than gold, served to Kings and Queens.

What is Ceremonial Cacao?

The Cacao bean is the original chocolate which grows in a pod on the Theobroma Cacao Tree. This particular Cacao is sourced from the Guatemalan Rain Forest.

Why Ceremonial Cacao?

Cacao is a Superfood. It contains all vitamins and minerals that your body needs and most people are lacking of. It is extremely high in Antioxidants, Magnesium, Chromium, Manganese, Iron, Theobromine, Anandamide, PEA, Zinc, Copper, Calcium, Sulphur, and Phosphorous.

What's the main ingredient in Ceremonial Cacao and why Ceremonial Cacao it good for your health?

Theobromine is the main active ingredient which literally translates to “food of the Gods”.

Theobromine is a long lasting cardiovascular stimulant (as opposed to caffeine which is a nervous system stimulant) found exclusively in raw Cacao. Unlike caffeine -which acts quickly and forcefully-, theobromine has a much longer half-life in the liver, therefore its effect on the body is gentler and lasts longer.

  • It’s a vasodilator, blood pressure and cholesterol reducer, offering a physical feeling of soft heart expansion.
  • It provides mental focus, lifts mood and energy, relaxes smooth muscle tissues.
  • It’s a mild diuretic and brings the body into a state of attentiveness and relaxation.

Other heavenly ingredients in a pure, Ceremonial Cacao, and their benefits:

Anandamide is the beautiful BLISS chemical that our body naturally produces when we feel joy and it reduces pain.

Phenylethylamine (PEA) is the LOVE chemical that is naturally produced in our body when we feel love and is also found in Cacao. PEA increases dopamine production in our brain and enhances mood. PEA helps with excitement, alertness, attention. Gives the perception of time slowing down.

Endorphins helps you deal with stress and pain.

Serotonin enhances wellbeing, happiness and resistance to stress.

Dopamine enhances pleasure and motivation.

Oxytocin Bonding enhancing love and trust.

Norepinephrine which is the joy molecule.

Magnesium relaxes the blood vessels, and provides brain clarity, concentration, and memory. It is also beneficial for the functioning of the heart, acting to relax blood vessels and decrease strain. Yet magnesium is chronically deficient in the majority of western diets. Stress, alcohol, tobacco, and lack of sleep all deplete magnesium from our bodies. Fortunately, cacao is the highest naturally occurring source, and can be used in place of magnesium supplements. It has so much magnesium that it is considered a therapeutic dosage, meaning it can reverse a deficiency quite quickly.

The mild bitterness of Ceremonial Cacao drink can serve to cleanse the liver.
